To achieve unity in the Islamic world, from the 12th to the 17th of the month of Rabi al-Awwal is considered the Week of Muslim Unity.
Currently, Mawlud is widely celebrated in Azerbaijan, Turkey, Syria, Algeria, Tunisia, Iran, Pakistan and other Muslim countries. In Pakistan, it is an official holiday that is celebrated over three non-working days.
On this day, it is customary to express joy about the arrival of the Prophet Muhammad (S), who was the last messenger of God, to this world, and to offer thanks to the Almighty for this, to turn to God with supplications, to give alms to the poor and to have pious conversations with each other.
