Month of Ramadan

Ramadan, the month of fasting. Allah says in the Quran: “O you who believe! Fasting has been assigned to you, just as it was prescribed to your predecessors” (“Al-Baqarah” -183).

The first thing we should do when Ramadan begins is to give immense praise to Allah Almighty. For some of us this month will not come, and the one who is lucky, let him praise Allah for immeasurable blessings. The hadith says: 1. Ramadan is the month of mercy and forgiveness. Its beginning is mercy, its middle is forgiveness, its end is liberation from hell. 2. On the first night of the month of Ramadan, Allah looks at His servants with His mercy, and the one whom Allah looks at will never be punished. 3. On the last night of this month, Allah forgives everyone’s sins. 4. During this month, the smell from the mouth of fasting can be more pleasant to Allah than the smell of the pelvis. 5. Performing the five obligatory prayers, participating in each subsequent Friday prayer after the previous one and observing fasting from Ramadan to Ramadan atone for the sins committed between them, unless there were serious sins among them.
