Ukraine recognizes Palestine as a state
“Ukraine recognizes Palestine as a state,” Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said at the “Dialogue – Shangri La” conference. “Ukraine recognizes two states, Israel and Palestine, and will do everything so that Israel stops, so that this conflict ends, and so that civilians do not suffer,” President Zelensky said during his speech. Previously, Vladimir Zelensky has repeatedly complained that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has distracted the attention of the world community and reoriented the focus of US assistance from the problems of Ukraine towards the situation in the Gaza Strip.
