Eid al-Adha or Kurban Bayram
The Islamic world celebrated one of the main holidays on June 6 – Eid al-Adha. The Islamic holiday of the end of the Hajj, celebrated 70 days after the holiday of Eid al-Fitr, on the 10th day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah. It is associated with the prophet Ibrahim, who was ready to sacrifice his son by order of Allah. Then the tradition of slaughtering a ram appeared. These days are public holidays in most Muslim countries. The Feast of the Sacrifice is the culmination of the Hajj to Mecca. An important component of the holiday is helping the poor and needy people.
