About Us
ahlibeyt.org — Online Center for Islamic Enlightenment in Eastern Europe, bringing together educational, scholarly, informational, and cultural activities within the digital space.
The Center was founded in 2016 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, with the aim of creating an accessible and modern educational environment for the study of Islam and its spiritual, theological, philosophical, and cultural heritage. Today, the Online Center extends its activities beyond Ukraine to the broader Eastern European region, providing people with access to Islamic knowledge regardless of their place of residence.
The primary mission of the Center is to promote reliable Islamic knowledge, foster religious literacy and intellectual culture, and introduce society to the centuries-old heritage of Islamic civilization.
We understand Islamic enlightenment not merely as the transmission of knowledge concerning religious precepts, but as a comprehensive educational process encompassing the study of Islamic creed and theology, the Qur’an and Hadith, Islamic philosophy, ethics, history, culture, and theological thought.

Educational Concept
The Online Center ahlibeyt.org places particular emphasis on the systematic and thoughtful study of Islam. We seek not merely to provide isolated pieces of information, but to foster a comprehensive understanding of the Islamic worldview, its conceptual framework, and its intellectual tradition.
Our educational materials draw upon both classical sources of Islamic knowledge and contemporary scholarship. Particular attention is given to the interrelationship between Islamic theology, philosophy, ethics, history, culture, and the academic study of religion. This approach makes it possible to examine Islam in the fullness of its spiritual and intellectual dimensions.
We also seek to make the classical Islamic heritage accessible to the contemporary reader by utilizing the opportunities offered by digital education, online lectures, a digital library, and multimedia resources.
Islamic Enlightenment in Eastern Europe
One of the Center’s principal objectives is to develop Islamic enlightenment throughout Eastern Europe, a region characterized by diverse historical, cultural, and linguistic contexts among its Muslim communities.
The Online Center ahlibeyt.org seeks to create a shared informational and educational space in which users from different countries of Eastern Europe can access Islamic knowledge, educational resources, and the intellectual heritage of Islamic civilization.
The multilingual format of the portal broadens access to its materials and contributes to the dissemination of Islamic education among a wider audience.
Our Principle
We believe that contemporary Islamic enlightenment should combine fidelity to the Islamic heritage, scholarly integrity, systematic education, and accessibility through modern digital formats.
The Online Center ahlibeyt.org is a cultural, educational, and intellectual-enlightenment platform dedicated to promoting the study of Islam, preserving its spiritual heritage, and fostering a culture of thoughtful and informed religious knowledge. The Director of the Center is Theologian Namig Babakhanov. (ahlibeyt.ukraine@gmail.com)
